I just found out today a lady I used to work with had a heart attack. She's in her late 30's - early 40's and has two middle, and elementary school aged children. Right now she is in the intensive care unit at the hospital. They have had to do surgery on her twice to keep her heart going. If you have a minute, please say a little prayer for her and her family.

I am so happy!!!! My dad went down to guitar center today and got them to send me a new guitar becuase the one I got for Christmas broke. Woooooo Hoooooo!!! I didn't expect that to happen at all. My mom had already gone up there earlier today and they said they couldn't do anything about it because we didn't buy the 2 year warranty when we purchased the guitar. Well my dad didn't think that was fair becuase they didn't even offer us the warranty when he baught it so he went up there and set them straight. He also baught me a stand for downstairs so it won't fall over and break again. Praise the Lord! I get my new guitar back. :D

My new guitar is dead. I brought it down stairs to look at some guitar tab online. When I was done playing I put leaned it up against the desk. A couple minutes later my dog brushed up against it, it fell over, and the headstock snaped completely off. I'm so upset. I barely had it a week and it's already broken. It must have had a defect in the wood. I mean come on! My other guitar fell over like that more times than I can count, had a fucking roof fall on it when my apartment burned down, and was soaked with water and didn't break. Well it warped really bad and some of the insides fell out from the water damage, but for the most part it's still in tact. I was so excited about this guitar, and now it's gone. I'm going to contact Guitar Center tomorrow to get information about the warrenty. *sigh* Why does this shit keep happening to me?

I feel very accomplished today. With much help from my friend Kaleb I finally signed up for college classes!! Huray! Now all I have to do is get the books and some school supplies and I'm set. Lets see if I can pass my classes this time. -_^

MATH 0305-S50 BEGINNING ALGEBRA (you have to start somewhere I guess. This is about the 5th time I've taken an algebra class. Hopefully I'll pass this time.)
ENGL-1201-S24 COMP/RHETORIC I
That is all. >_< I'm trying to keep it light. Once I get into the college groove I'll probably take more than two classes at a time. Untill then I'm taking baby steps.

Have you ever been away from work or school for an extended period of time then been completely lost when you got back? That's where I'm at right now. I've been sick for that last week, so I haven't gone to work since last Tuesday. Now I'm back and I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing. What am I here for?! There must be a purpose for my being here. I know I didn't just sit around all day before I got sick (or did I?). *sigh* I hate not knowing my routine anymore.
Christmas this year kicked butt! This has got to be the best Christmas I've ever had. There were no family fights, everyone was sober!!!, everyone was pleased with their presents, my mom made an awesome turkey dinner, and everyone went to bed happy. It was perfect.
Guess what I got... !_! :D Are you ready for this???!!!!
A NEW GITAR!!!
I am so happy. It's not an electric like I wanted but it's still the coolest thing ever. It's a Takamine GS-330S. Everything about it is beautiful. Playing it gives me goosbumbs. It wouldn't be a strech to say it sounds better than my original guitar before it got messed up in the fire. I love it!
Back to work I go...

Not much has happened over the past couple of days. Turns out I really am sick. -_- Joy. On the plus side I haven't had to go to work at all this week and have had ample time to laze around the house. Joy. I'm starting to get so bored. I can't have anyone over or go anywhere becuase I'm "highly contageous" according to the doctor. Good thing I'm a loner by nature otherwise I would have gone insane by now.

Oh the joy of the holiday season. Everyone is cheery and full of glee at the thought of Santa coming next weekend. Everyone except me. I'm getting sick. Of all the times to be sick my body would choose now to do it. This ruins all my plans! I wanted this Christmas to be perfect, but no, something always has to go wrong. It feels like I might be getting strep, or the flu. I even got a flu shot this year so this wouldn't happen. -_- *sigh* Why do you hate me God?
I got my hair cut yesterday at the mall. Maybe someone put anthrax into the ventilation system, or bird flu... That's it. I'm going to die. Not really. I'm just being melodramatic on purpose. *super deep sigh* Bla.

Yesterday was so much fun. I went galivanting around town with my friend Kaleb, then we went back to his house and I tried to teach him and his sister how to knit. It was quite an adventure. Huray for getting out of the house.
Joyce Meyer has been teaching on depression these past couple of days. I just got through watching the broadcasts online. Alot of it made sence and it got a few things to click in my head. It's worth watching if you have extra minutes in the day. Here's a link to the webcast. The first three with Dr. Meier were the ones I watched.

I decided my layout needed to be more festive for Christmas. I'm lazy so I just changed the background picture and the user icon. I think it turned out pretty good. The background is a picture of an orniment my great grandma gave my sister and I when we were little. It's one of my favorite. ^_^
